I use my older clay (still useable) for large tar spots on the rockers and lower body.

Clay works miracles for all those etched hard water spots on the glass and chrome. Rinse and MF it dry, you'll be amazed.

II Kings, on your earlier recommendation I bought and have the Mothers Clay kit safely tucked away in my garage awaiting the 300C later in the year. I think it may have been you who said to run your fingers over a surface which seems perfect, then try it with your fingers in a plastic bag. The irregularities you can feel through the plastic are incredible. You are full of good advice.

Hmmmm, the plastic bag test, sounds like one of my quotes. Make sure when you do that test your car is clean. Gary

For fathers day I clayed his 96 red supra for him. He was a little skeptical as was I when I saw what came in the kit. I had also purchased the sealer and the wax to be sure we got the full effect. WOW he was blown away and loved how it turned out. Mothers puts out some good stuff.

C-man,

Just a caution, glass is a lot softer than you might think, and if you would not use a dirty clay bar on the paint, then I would also not use it on the windshield.

Glass gets streaks, chips and swirls just like paint. it might be a little more durable, but if your paint gets messed up at least you don't have to look through it.

All I am saying is don't take the durability of the glass for granted.
