spray soapy water on the drivers side doors and place a hefty bag on them..leave them out in the hot sun for a few hours..remove the bags and peel.

yeah but if you are doing the rear window, let the tint shop do it, cause if you just peel it off the rear window, you will take the defroster and radio antenna with it..

most shops charge very little for tint removal, best to let the pros do it if you aren't sure how..

i would reccomend having them do it at the tint shop right before they install you new tint. Ive seen way too many ppl mess this up. And if you do mess it up then it can become a bigger pain to take off and ive seen some tint shops actually charge more to remove it once its been messed up.

Thanks I guess there is no miracle juice out there that will melt it --I was not going to do the rear window just because the defroster grid and it seem good--last time I did it was use a hair dryer to heat the window and peel but that was a long time ago-- I thought technology had maybe invented something new by now Thanks for your replies

removing the tint isn't rocket science if you have a tad bit of patience lol I have done it tons of times and no issues whatsoever ....but if you're not comfortable removing it..pay to have it done...I've removed the tint from my Chrysler 300C rear window twice already with no issues in rear defroster or radio...check out the forum www.tintdude.com or click the link below for tint removal instructions

i used to work at my friends tint shop and the easiest way to remove old tint is with a steamer. for the back window i would recommend using a steamer and if theres glue stuck to the window just use a brillo pad and some simple green, for the side windows if theres glue u can use a razor blade and soapy water.........hope this helps...............
