How to remove wood dash kit ???

Hi guys,

I need your advice on how to remove my current wood dash kit which has been in the car for the last 2 years? a new kit is arriving soon

PS: My wood dash kit is the plastic sticky type that comes with a 3M tape.

If you didn't use adhesion promoter it will peel of easily with the help of a hair dryer set to low. If you used the promoter, get ready to do some work. It can leave residue and will most likely need some work before you add the next kit.

I didn't use the adhesive so I hope it'll be an easy job Thanks mate

Good for you. Just take your time and keep the tape warm and soft. It will peeel right off and then clean up easily. I used the promoter on my Crown Victoria. Then the crappy kit delaminated in the California heat so I had to remove it. What a mess. I had to attach a new kit to hide the mess!
