My Turbo Wax Package

After talking to them and deciding on what to get, I got my package in 5 days including the weekend. I ordered the Complete Car Car Kit minus the Wheel Cleaner. Since my wheels are painted, I didnt want the wheel cleaner to damage them so I asked to sub it for an additional Spray -n- Wax.

Since it was a pretty nice day today I decided to give the cars a good wash. Good o Texas weather...Freezing one day, nice and warm the next. I didn't get a chance to use everything but I did get to try a few things out. I ended up washing both cars since I still had some sun.

Now...I'm not sure about other car shampoos but I seem to remember using a lot more than what this bottle suggests. It says to use a half an ounce per gallon of water...Okay that doesnt seem like a lot but lets try it out. I used an ounce for my 2 Gallon Bucket....To my surprise it was more than enough. No soap refilling needed and it sudded up pretty well.

I've been into cars for a while now and ever since I've owned one, I never dried my car with a towel. For as long as I can remember it was an Absorber and before that it was Sheep Skin/Hide or whatever that stuff was. This kit came with a "Drying Towl" and a "Window Drying Towel." What the hell, lets give it a shot....I can say that I have changed my ways. When I think of towels I think of heavy, thick, hard to wring out, don't touch my car kinda stuff. These towels are bad ass.

The regular drying towel is pretty large and thin allowing me to basically dry the car with two hands instead of just one. My karate days started creepin up and before you know it...I was jammin . Seriously though, it dried the car very nicely, it was light, and easy to wring. There weren't any instructions on how to keep the towel during non use so I just hung it out to dry.
Now for the window drying towel...Why do you need one for just the windows? Again, mine as well give it a shot....and Again, I was surprised. For those painters out there, it was like having a tack cloth for your windows. It was crazy..I didn't think it would work any different than the other towel but it did. I'm used to washing and drying my windows with newspaper to get that streak freeness but this worked very well. It kind of had an almost sticky feel that just picked up the water. Now when I went to use it on the Mrs' car it wasn't as effective but I believe its because it was soaked by then.

Then it was on to the wheels..I used the very handy Tire Gel Applicator that has a plastic handle. Very usefull, I must say. I'm used to the yellow and black applicator that got all gooey that was kept in a sandwich bag. . Nothing special about the Tire Care Gel except it didnt take a lot for it to shine. I usually use Meguires and for some reason it takes a lot of gel for me to get them the way I want. Not with this stuff.

It seems like the Turbo Wax stuff is just more potent, or non diluted The sun was going down so I decided to snap a few shots and save the rest for another day. Car cleanin....a more than one day job!

Heres what I got...

Heres Her car....

And of course...mine

Looks nice on both. I've never heard of the product but it's always interesting to see new products tested.
