6 hours and 12 beers later (thx turbomangt!)

Woke up early and the feeling of not having to go to work flooded me with the will to shine up the beast in prep for next weeks So. Cal. meet.

Thanks to Gary at perfectautofinish.com for the excellent products. First time claying a car and it was breeze and I could hardly believe the results of just doing that! After a good drying i hit her with Gary's paint cleaner/polish and WOW super easy to apply and it eliminated a TON of hairline scratches and all but eradicated a couple of the deeper ones that have been bugging me. After that another easy to apply coat of the paint sealant and even my wife who thinks i have some sort of disorder associated with the "c" had to admit it has never looked better (except for my missing rims).

Even Gary's MF towels are superior to any of the others I have purchased in the past(the smaller blue ones seemed to be the same as the ones i saw at Kragen (auto parts store) this morning but they were 2$ cheaper from gary. The big blue drying towel in particular was VASTLY superior to the others to brands i have previously purchased (i will be ordering a couple more)

One final pass with the quick detailer spray to get rid of the dust and the car looks great.. i will hit it with the pro detailer spray before the meet next week just for fun

the pics are with the eibach pro-kit that is currently installed.. after settling the drop is just a smidge too much for me to get over the hump into the garage at work and here in LA it gets covered with schmutz parking on the street all day so I am switching to the MOPAR 1" drop springs on Thurs. Those at the meet will get to see how that looks freshly intalled next weekend!

nothing like a good workout with results you can see at the end!

You are a brave man for doing a black 300c for your first time claying. I will admitt, judging from the pics you did well. I love that car, you even have my grille that I like. Too bad you don't live closer, I can use some good help.

Thanks Gary I am totally sold on your products! Much easier with better results than the Zaino I was hooked on before. Thanks so much for the help & great customer service (though you really need to hook up a paypal or other type of online ordering process.)

Now all i need is a giant glass case to keep her in

Pixel,

I see your getting a head start for next week. Your ride looks great and I can't wait to see it up close, you've done some unique mods. It looks like you've set the standard for what to expect, good job.

Looks great, PP.

I was waiting to finish my supply of Zaino, but I'm going to call Gary and order his products, as well.

Isn't this the truth. There's nothing worse than investing a ton of time and effort into a project, and not be satisfied with the results.

Your car really looks outstanding. You should be very proud of it.
