HELP: Someone keyed my car!!

What's the best way to fix this? the scratch is very thin, but deep and long. I have factory-matched spray paint, adhesion promoter, and clear coat.

Sorry to hear about that. If it were me, based on what you're describing, I would have the repair professionally done.

^^ X20.. Go to a good shop to get it fixed. Home remedies usually create more issues than they repair. Besides you may be suprised at the price as I'm sure it's not going to be terrible and they'll just flash it in.

Yeah, depending on the severity of the scratch, I'd try using a random orbital machine and some good polish. Just make sure you don't burn your paint but with these new random orbitals, that's hard to do. You have to find out who did it too. We can't let transgressions such as this go on. Beat them within an inch of their life and maybe they'll think twice before doing mine!

Yeah unfortunately I'm not completely sure when it was done. I think yesterday, and I'm going to try to get security camera footage from every place I went to. Where I live they have security cameras everywhere. It makes my blood boil to think whoever did this might get away with it.

And yeah, I'll probably get some quotes from different body shops.

Well I did some digging and got a description of who did it-an illegal-immigrant-looking Mexican's been seen messing with people's cars in an Office Depot parking lot. A worker there got it way worse than I did-his BMW had profanity carved all over the sides, a giant **** carved on the hood, and random scratches all over the back. There were also complaints of customers cars being keyed and headlights/taillights being broken. Amazingly this place doesn't have cameras covering the parking lot(one of the few places that doesn't in my area).
