I killed a 2010 Grand Sport

In my prior post I ran my Diablo Tuned 300c and whipped up on a GT 500 Super Snake a few months back. I went to the track this Saturday with no intentions on running. I didn't even have 93 octane in the tank, I was running cheap 87. My buddy's convinced me to run just for the hell of it. Remind you, nothing but a tune and drop in K&N filter with regular stock street tires, 38lbs in the back. I was sought out by a 2010 Grand Sport Vette, he did everything possible to be able to run me. Just before stagging, I asked my buddy what tires he had and he had street tires....thats when I knew. If I could tree him, he would try to chase me down. I stole the tree and he started to panic, got into hard and thats all she wrote. See time slips.

About half hour later he came up and said "Wanna try and whip my ass another time? I'm going to leave my traction control on." Sure why not. Since I embarrassed him the first time, he was going to try and make a point. Guess I had him scared, he red lighted. However, look at the tree time and 60 ft, I had him again anyway. I let up after the 60'...

Another great night whipping up on $60,000+ HP cars with my 4000lb family sedan,......

The last 'Vette I raced ended up hitting the wall...on both sides of the track!

Nice kill! Glad to hear you showed him how it's done. I hate to say it, but the Vette driver sucked though. A .5 reaction and nearly a 2.5 60 ft is poor.

I agree....but a kill is a kill no matter how bad they sucked!!! That's what makes the 1/8 mile so great, it's all won on the tree and 60ft....
