I ran my car today with my new cat back on and the 93 octane cai tune and ran this
I have the diablo sport trinity 93 octane cai modified tune, aFe stage 2 cai, 180 tstat, catch can, and SLP loudmouth II catback exhaust. Does my car really run this or could it be faster? I do understand weather plays a big part.

That is not bad for the 5.7L. You should data log it at the same time with the Trinity and look at ST Knock retard, that will tell you if you are getting the full timing advance from the 93 octane tune or if it is pulling it out a little because of the gas used. The Hemi is very sensitive to that, but the 5.7 is less sensitive than the 6.1L.
I've been having a tough time figuring out how to get that damn thing to record I hit record but then when I go to plug it into my computer it says I didn't log anything...

looks pretty close. I have similar mods and ran a 13.35 104 mph. Like maddog said the different variables have a play!

I would love to know more about this if you can expand on this I would love to hear more about what to look for while data loging. I don't have the Trinity but do have the old version tuner. Thanks in advance!
Yes I do have the original predator. Pry needs an update too. Its about 4 years old. Thanks for the link. I hope this helps me reach my goal of under 13.0 this year.
Dgatsby1.... good advice... people never think to look for or fix KR... its really not discussed much anymore and it should be!
I had a pretty terrible dose of knock retard... did some logs and got it in line... it felt good knowing I had stopped any damaging KR getting it straightened out and it did help the car stay more consistant. All in all the car felt stronger however was only ever less than a tenth of a second quicker after logging it, and that time gained could have been for a slew of different reasons. I do believe that fixing any KR issues is a BIG important job to do, power can come at a cost and people focus on going quicker yet fail to understand that its not all tire squealing goodness... bad things happen within! However gotta be honest, I don't think your gonna pick up four tenths by fixing KR onesickhotrod, if you want to cut a 13.0 or less its gonna take a cam or some nitrous or a set of gears that will let you pull up tree stumps! I'm willing to bet though pal that if you have headers your going to have KR, it is par for the course... you should check it asap if you haven't! Felt great fixing it myself.. but I felt waaaaay more confident when I got my tune knowing a pro made sure it wasn't there!

I now know I am going to look into this asap! As far as that time, I know its not going to do it alone. I was looking for a cmr tune and a cam this spring. That's the only way I see this ride breaking into the high 12 sec range. This is great advice and I hope more people become aware. I never knew it was that bad. Thanks again!
