Hello Vyckal and all other,

I have now the same problem with my 300C. I'm trying to fix it now for 2 weeks but unfortunately no result . You write in your first quistion that you have replace the Exhaust Pressure Sensor and now you write that its fixed because you bought a sensor with part number 05175812AA. This photo shows the Exhaust Pressure Sensor. So I dont understand it??

First I go to the Chrysler dealer and they check for error code's. I have the same error code P0471. They have change the Sensor but give still the same error code. They told me that I have to check wiring from the Sensor to ECM. I have checked al the wiring but there is no problem with the wiring.

So I dont know what the problem is!

I had also a hole in my DPF because the DPF was broken from the rod. I have detached the DPF and welded it. Is that maybe the problem? Hope someone can help me!!!

HI,

The link in your photo is not the correct part for the 300c (The photo is a regulator/valve, NOT a pressure sensor.) I assume Chrysler have fitted the correct part though. As you suggest, your error code could easily be caused by DPF internal removal though because exhaust back pressure would be reduced.
I assume your dealer checked the hole where the pressure transducer screws in was cleared of crud before new sensor was fitted because thay sometimes block up.
This Error code can also be activated when the EGR valve failes to operate (or chaffed wiring as suggested).

If the code came up immediatley after DPF removal I would suggest its the most probable cause though.

Hello Jack,

Thank you for your information. And sorry for my english. Its not very well .

I give wrong information. Very sorry about that. We dont fix the DPF but the catalyst.

The code came before we fix the catalyst. Chrysler have fitted the sensor and see in the meantime the hole in the catalyst. They say that this hole must be fixed so I have removed it and fixed it. Before I have fixed I had only a limp mode. But now I have limp mode and also when I give gas the car stutters really bad. Also the exhaust can't pull out the pressure. If i give gas and someone else put his hand to the exhaust you feel almost nothing. We thought also that it could be the EGR. We have checked the EGR yesterday but it seems OK.

The sensor what Vyckal is showing is already changed.

the name is Exhaust gas pressure sensor
It's under the hood, not so far from turbo - in the right side, connected to the body with two tubes.
