Latest up date on my car - I called into the approved Bodyshop on Saturday to check on the progress of my car and have to say it looks as if they've done a first rate job on the rear of the car. There is however one major problem, the grille I had on the car - the Bentley styled one has been replaced with the original styled grille. I was told that the order for a Bentley had been placed with the Chrysler main dealers at Preston and original styled grille was sent in its place. The Bodyshop manager had then phoned the main dealers to ask for a replacement and was told that the Bentley style are no longer sold by Chrysler as they had stopped the warranty on the part.
I had suggested that ACD of Lancashire were selling the Bentley style grille and could this be a way of getting round the problem and the Bodyshop manager had started to look at what was available from ACD.
In the meantime I've phoned the Chrysler dealership where I bought the car from and was told that the Bentley style grille was still on sale.
I would point out that both dealership are owned by the same firm, which makes this more confusing.
Can anyone give me some advice on this mess

Authentic Startech grills are not available, but these replica ones are. Not too sure about the fit & finish quality though

I have a genuine one in perfect condition that is just being stored, I could have my arm twisted to sell at the right price but not in a rush to let it go either.

You could have a Mopar grille, with the dark mesh centre, but I think the stock grille with the number plate plinth looks better. There is no nice way to mount the number plate with a Startech grille.
