I have two on my drive and there are another three floating round town here that i've seen.

My dad's also seen a few near where he lives in Norfolk. I saw one there last year used as a funeral car and sporting the bentley badges....

I've seen 1 or two around Birmingham a 57 plate silver CRD saloon used as a taxi and 1 black and 1 silver estates in and around Sparkhill.

I live in Bournville - anyone close fancy a meet?

Are there any definitive figures for how many 5.7 Tourings there are?

Looking on How Many Left the figures suggest:

SRT8 - registered as SRT8 Auto (197 highest number on road) and SRT-8 (7 highest)

300 Hemi C Auto - 353

300C Hemi Auto - 72

There are figures for V6 which suggest around 580 or so, thousands of CRDs

Mine, as a Touring, is registered as a 300C Hemi Auto. Whether that's a rule for identifying a Touring on the V5, who knows - that differentiation doesn't seem to apply to CRDs.

DVLA will have an accurate recorded figure, but how we get this information from them is another question?

It would be interesting to see the overall count and even better to see the numbers how they are spread across regionally. On average I take the HEMI and do around 9k miles per annum and on those occasions where I bump into a 300c, its a diesel models

To date in my few years of ownership, I have only seen 1 srt8 saloon which was on the move moving pretty fast and that was out of town. Locally, I know of 1 other srt8 saloon version in black, which is always parked outside a house that I frequently pass, I now believe that owner is the boss of a franchised dealer, now a FIAT.

Definitely rare in this region

I think for cars manufactured, and even "within their first warranty" before SORN was implemented, How Many Left is probably fairly accurate - the highest number can realistically reflect the number of cars within a small margin of error (for example, exports or total losses of cars < 2 or 3 years old) and then show the decline in numbers on the road/total numbers after production/imports cease.

However, the flaw is in the recording. Does SRT8/SRT-8 suggest anything, like the 300C Hemi / 300 Hemi C? Or is that just dealer inconsistency applying to Touring and Saloons alike...

As V8s are no longer sold here, we can add up the highest numbers prior to cessation of sales for SRT8 and Hemi for a grand total of Hemi engined 300Cs in the UK, and that's a good baseline figure, and we have totals for Hemi and SRT8s - then it's just "how, if at all, can we tell Touring from Saloon".

Chrysler UK must know.

Populations

Saw a few 300Cs around Burton-upon-Trent weekend before last. Thought there might be a convention or something.
