I've also taken a supply from the stock puddle into the car so I can install/wire projectors in the back doors.

More pic's to come as I have them

they look nice & bright, but its hard to tell if the blurring is in the projector, or bum photographs!

did it break your heart to cut the metal?

No, bum photographer Miles. On the night setting my camera takes a lifetime to take (gather light I guess) and its hard to keep still as its capturing the image.

The images in reality are crystal clear.

Got a supply from the front panel/puddle light inside the car so'll be putting in the back doors also. Tried taking a supply from the interior light on/off/dimmer switch (next to fog switch) presuming it was the white/yellow but it wasn't giving a supply. One of those wires on that plug must be a supply since the switch does control the int. lights, but it was too cold to stay out there all afternoon with a meter.

Looking at the backs though they'll either have to go way forward (may cut the image projection) or mount within the cubbly hole area, probably go for the latter as they won't really be seen even though they'll exposed within the cubby hole.

I may also mount one centrally under the rear bumper, linked up to the boot light.

Cut metal?? I drilled the door card so no metal.

Ages, well not the actual projector. I was faffing for ages trying to get a supply firstly from the int. light switch/dimmer then from the door card through the rubber harness cover (car side) through to somewhere I could grap it. I'd presumed there was just wires running through from the door and into the car but as far as I could feel its a plug so my plan to run a supply through the rubber and into the car didn't pan out as expected.

I reckon you could probably fit a pair using the puddle light supply within an hour easy. Just undo the screws and fixings holding the door card on allowing you to drill the hole, pull the bottom out and get your hand through to position and fasten the projector, wires through to the stock puddle position and job done. As I mentioned though the hole saw could do with being a couple of mm's larger really since I needed to file out the hole a tad to get the projector through.

Both fitted but need to look at one again as every time I shut the door it moves position.

Glad you got them. Got to revist mine also as I mounted one just a fraction too close to the door so the projected image has the very top of the circle cut. Couldn't see the image clearly enough in the daylight so didn't notice. Was going to do today but ended up calling out the RAC as I couldn't get in to it. Battery wasn't totally dead but flat enough so it wouldn't operate the central locking. Must have been the 3 or 4 hours I was messing about with it yesterday. Surprised it doesn't have a charge point or at least a connection point/wires somewhere accessible like under the wheel arch or somewhere, just somewhere you could connect an external battery to, to get enough juice into the system in an emergency to operate the central locking. Don't think it would aid a thief.

Got mine Friday and fitted today. Took about 45 mins on passenger side and 15 mins drivers side. I drilled into the door card leaving the puddle lights as is. Hardest part was trying to tighten the nut - big hands and little space. Will try to put a pic up when it gets dark.

No one else brave the cold to get em fitted??

Tried for the back doors but they're pretty well a no go I reckon. The underside lip isn't in itself wide enough because of the inside cubby hole (when looking inside the panel). Did think about mounting them higher up, next to the handle which would be ok but the projected image is too large and shines over the door sill etc. May revisit it again when its warmer. One under the rear bumper coming on with the boot light is next for me.
