The sunrrof might just need a good lube on the runners and a bit of use. It sounds like it might just be dry and the car thinks it has an obstruction.

Might also be worth changing the battery if it's the original, as a precaution I changed mine earlier this year. For the price of a battery, I don't want the dreaded click click some day whem I'm out in my good clothes.

Oh, definitely - I've had the battery issue on a Voyager, and they need big AGM ones.

The sunroof looks clean - if I can get it to retract fully and resync it, I'll do the obstruction training next, mostly both irritated that it's not behaving, and pleased that it should open a lot further after all!

I put a Bosch S5 in mine, it was about £100 from Euro car parts. It was the best quality battery I could find over here. I believe it has a 5 year warranty.

Sunroof wants resetting just like the auto up windows do from time to time... maybe ... I can't remember as I very very rarely use the sunroof... Waste of time with climate control, only time I used it is when the kids farted in the car... but 1 has his own car now and the other gets chauffeured by my missus, dipstick on yours was broken by incorrect angle of extraction due to bullet proof engine never ever losing a drop of oil even if being thrashed or not being serviced on time, they just don't lose oil, stop fretting and have fun with your Hemi... I do.... lol

Oh, I wasn't fretting about the snapped dipstick, I was fretting about the garage's attempts to remove it dropping plastic into the sump - or the metal!

I like sunroofs, though. Main reason I sought this car out - wanted the sunroof and V8. But the sunroof needs fuse 44 pulling, from a forum search (though the way it stops at the halfway is very solid, it's very much a "STOPPED!"). If that doesn't work, well, then I'll get a dealer to prod it.

Here's my 300's face:

I see screws in the numberplate. I see references elsewhere to the plinth fitting into the grille. So... screws into my bumper, or screws into a lower mounting for a plate plinth? Guess the eggcrate will fit regardless!

I think the Startech grill suits silver cars. I am about to remove the Startech off my car. I don't think it suits it as not much chrome on an SRT8 and the cars black. I am fitting our Grip style grill.

I have a as new delivery mileage stock grill and a used number plate plinth sitting in my garage if anyones interested. The plinth covers to much of the bottom of the grill for my liking.
