i have the same issue as i have run my 2006 SRT8 for nealry five years and now out of warranty i am still running it. i normally swap out after three. now at about 75,000 miles.
while they still dont import a right hand drive new SRT8 into the UK i am stuck. not a clue what to do. i am in the same camp here as the OP in that i just couldnt see myself in a boring new german car, no offense intended to anyone but zzzzzzzzz you are no one.
i am not embarassed to say i like a bit of "look at me", so what. the 300 SRT does that in spades.
i will say she is holding up well and still cheap (ish) to run in comparison with what else i own so although i know i need to change, fair play to her she isnt making me rush.
i would love a challenger SRT8 but no RHD, i would love the new 300 SRT8 but no RHD. Wouldnt want a CTS even if it was as not my look really.
what to do...ho hum....
even the merc 6.3 coupe doesnt excite me. it isnt muscle.

A6, A8. even had a go of a last Saab 95(lovely but not many about)
my silver 300. 06 plate i have put 80k on in just under 3 years, bought with 17k on
Faults, cable rubbing on air con pipe, swile motor, front brakes, manifold cracked
so maybe the only option is to get a black one this time?
are the newer ones 08 onwards any different other than the interia?
are all the same issues there

Newer ones i think have a little better interier, but all black and have all the same issue's well most of them
cant find anything else i want. the 730BMW looks like a spaceship inside with all the buttons
the 530 just boring.
so change if i find something i like, but not much choice. DB9 good but few years of that
not so much bothererd about newer, just the miles.
my business partners has the cls, used it a few times (dont like bending down to get in it ) lol
and i have a bad problem where i look at all the reviews about cars, which alot put me off, and most times the only things you read are the bad things, so think i got to stop looking a just get what i like ( black 300)
thanks all....putting off decision for another 6 months and sticking to the 300c.
The other option I thought of was buying classics I wanted in my teens and changing them every 6 months !
List include
1. Pre 1990 Honda CRX
2. BMW 80' 635
3. 1970's Datsun 260z
4. 1960's Volvo p1800 and
...5 the only car I would keep for more than 5 years...the Honda NSX!!!!!
Only downside is I do 15k a year and could be waiting a long on a hard shoulder for recovery (save for the Honda's which have the bullet proof vtec engines !)
