List include

1. Pre 1990 Honda CRX
2. BMW 80' 635
3. 1970's Datsun 260z

...5 the only car I would keep for more than 5 years...the Honda NSX!!!!!

Only downside is I do 15k a year and could be waiting a long on a hard shoulder for recovery (save for the Honda's which have the bullet proof vtec engines !)

if I had to go for something modern....probably either XF as suggested or range rover evoque..

As long as its a petrol model the engine will just keep going and going without any issues,who cares its thirstier,petrol engines just keep going as long as the oil n filters are changed regularly......have I ever mentioned I don't like modern diesels??..... lol

I have just bought a little barn find 1964 Mercedes 230SL pagoda as a nostalgic purchase to renovate. will be a nice little summer runabout. as a very young boy i saw brigette bardott in st tropez step out of one and it was my first poster car. only SL i have never owned so am a pretty happy boy

i remember my dad had an lovely old 450 slc, the only time i saw him close to tears was when he had to sell it to put more money into the business. i have never seen another on the road since or for sale for that matter, as have looked a few times.
