not popular when they came out and of course that can then be a massive benefit when later in life they become collectable and they are very that now

I was faced with the same question a few weeks ago... I went with a 2012 Gloss Black SRT8 with all possible options.
I pick it up this coming week and can't wait!!!!
I will definitely let you know what I think but I think I am going to love it!!!

I'd probably want a new SRT8 if anything, they're not as cool externally, but the features and newer drivetrain are nice

well generally by the time you have pulled out far enough to see if something is coming you have just hit something coming the other way. i like overtaking.
its just a preferance thing. i would much prefer a right hand drive and apart from the 300 i havent seen anything else come over that i want. a new 300 would be fine.

Nah,when overtaking in a lefty you first go close to the kerb glance down the inside and if clear nail it and cos your on the left you can pull in after overtaking way sooner than you can in a righty, that's how I drove my 70 Camaro

Money depending of course I think there has never been so many nice cars available. Love the New Mercedes C class Sports, the New E class, S Classes are getting cheap now. The new shape CLS is beautiful. Mercedes now do the 420cdi engine. The new 6 series is nice too, can get a 640d (I think this is a twin turbo with a 8 speed box). Audi have a nice line up too especially liking the new A6 all them led's on the back, Audi seem to be overpriced though in my opinion, paying for a name? I don't know. Audis seem a bit Gucci handbag like IMO.

IMO the Phaeton looks like a big Passat that will just blend in. The new Saab 9-5 is a lovely car, I would of suggested speccing it with the HUD display but since they don't make them anymore probably wouldnt advise getting one-you will just end up with a worthless car, a bit like owning a last of the line MG. I suppose it all depends what you want out of it? I like the New Laguna Coupes but I can never seem to find one for sale with a manual gearbox, which if I was to have one it would have to have. I really do think thought if you are after a new car to replace your 300c it probably has never been so easy. I am not trying to put the 300c down but there is just so much choice out there. For me, I will be getting a newshape C when they are cheap enough btw when is the 8 speed being launched??

I defected into a bright orange Kia Sportage.
It has the looks, the road presence, the colour is amazing, it's equally as well specced as the 300, apart from the electric seats. Its does far way more to the gallon.

Down sides.. It's no where near as quick, but at 55mpg, I can live with that.
The diesel engine is a little agricultural, but like the 300c tick, you sort of switch off from it.

I was initially concerned about the build quality of a Korean car, but these are built in Europe, are really well made and are backup with a 7 year warranty.
Having scritinsed one before I jumped in, I'm pretty well impressed. It certainly has less interior hard plastic than the 300.

Still loving mine.
