so you have to unlock the car first then to open the tailgate,cos us saloon boys can leave the car locked and open the boot with the buttons without affecting the alarm

As long as the rear seats aren't down!! If they are, the alarm goes off as you're loading up!!

If the tailgate lifts automatically on a tourer, it will have to lift very slowly to avoid knocking someone on the head.

2008 Key fobs breaking and dropping the key blade? That's the only one I've seen.
