Well for 9 gall of fuel at least you can witness the results from the diag tool,(rip-off,I mean snap-on diag tool is sh1t,all them stupid keys you have to put in....)have a coffee or tea, have a smoke( if you smoke) see my old school dump of a garage, see some old school motors and not be patronised.....oh and the diagnostics are on me ( as they always are when it comes to you guys in this family of "C"s even if you did pick the wrong one).... lol

I know its tough without seeing Ray, but what do you reckon is the prob? If its a simple reset/code deletion thats one thing but if its fluffed software that'd defo have to be a StarScan right?
PM sent Ray... oh, and by picking the wrong one I guess you mean an Oil Burner? I know you love them so much... lol
OK found someone local that had diagnostic equip that would look into the vehicle specific stuff and there was a bunch of codes referring to low voltage and communication errors. All were able to be deleted except U140E Implausible Vehicle Configuration, which the guy said was to do with a corruption after the battery outage/reconnection. He also said it was a dealer only fix. There is also code B2325 Headlamp Washer Motor Control, which he did delete but it came back so must be a current problem.
So anyone have any other ideas about the U140E code and how I could overt a dealer / Starscan visit? Ray would your machine delete it?

Got a few headlamp motors if you need one
As it easier to start with that than the module

Dont know if it will get seen in this thread but nowt to lose.
same problem with warning lights myself today.
been in for a tyre change and removal of the remaining two TPS sensors.
couple of minutes up the road and got a boing !
ABS, BAS, ESP all came on together.
looking at earlier posts on this thread is appears the warning lights will turn themselves off after a few starts.....does it happen or will they need resetting via OBD reader and see if they reappear ?
I replaced my 6 year old battery to day after it let me down once last week no lights just had to reset the windows and the clock was 10 min's slow. And it feels a lot more responsive.
