the second 'I' must give aluminium its strength which would explain why when checking my tyre pressures today the end 5mm fell off the ALUMINUM valve stem when i took the plastic dust cap off.

wont happen again, new tyres and RUBBER valves next weekend....stuff the annoying TPS valves.

It was [AIUI] Aluminum everywhere but was later modified to fit the naming patterns of other elements except that, in the US, they didn't bother.
