i fitted king springs and the car just dropped after a short drive about 50mm

the self levellers wont go to their upper limit,they will go as high as the weight of the car and the length of the springs,so as Russell says it will drop

Alex, if you went with a 50mm drop, you will need to replace the self levelling shock at the rear, otherwise it will often ride on bump stops

You might possibly get away with a 40mm drop but manufactures recommend to replace it. Worse comes to worse, if you like you can replace with a budget brand like GMax, the shocks are around £30 or less and you can go with a spring set of your choice.

Best bet, save up & go with coilovers, you won't regret it
