How to reset Engine Management Light

Morning fellow 300c ers, does any one know if there is there a way to reset the engine managment light without taking it in to a main dealer. Mine has been on and off in the last few months more than Rihanna and Chris Brown. I am fed up of taking it it in to the dealers only for them to say it was nothing and they have reset it. Plus I have fallen out with Hughs of Beacosfield so need to find a new garage near Watford that can rely on. Any ideas ??

buy yourself a cheap reader off fleabay and do it yourself,before you wipe it,make a note of the fault code and description and let us know what it is

I use the U480 that Richard recommended but a couple of members have found they didn't work on there C. Hopefully it will be ok on yours.

I also have one and it works fine, You will get a booklet with all the codes in but Ray can probably give you more info on the code.

Do you not have a predator? as i thought they could read codes??

Have no idea what a Predator is apart from a 1980's film with Arnie and as for a V-switch ???

You two should write a "Dummies Guide to the 300C", i'd buy it !!
