If you want it set up without an FM modulator, found this adaptor for the rej. The custom charges will also be an added cost, its available from the states.

Here's a bit more info.

Thanks, I've been looking at the iSimple stuff. Seems a very complicated way of fitting an aux input - only three wires after all...

iPod connector?

Check this site out. They have pretty much everything that you could want or be looking for with some of the most reasonable prices I've seen. However their shipping prices are murder unless it is over $100. If it's not over $100 you'll be looking at about $17

I keep coming back to the iSimple ISCH73

There seem to be drawbacks with all the other solutions out there.

I was looking at this system but I have a 2008 face lift model and it has the REW MyGig so it is not compatible. I don't think there is any way for me to connect my ipod to my system - apart from the FM modulator but not keen on that idea as I'd like to control my ipod from the steering wheel and also have it charging. Will also miss the TA announcements too on the modulator as apparently you cannot hear another radio station with this connected - not 100% sure on this though.

iPod connector?

For whatever it's worth, this is the setup that I have in my car. For reference I have the REC head unit with the 6 disk changer, with satellite radio (activated) and navigation. With these the two items I have listed I can still operate my Sirius radio and navigation while I have my iPad mounted in a cradle located in front of my dash vents and out of line of view. It's also really nice because if you have your iDevice hooked up you can change the songs with your steering wheel controls. You don't have to take your eyes off the road. But I also have the 3.5mm AUX jack so I can use my Android device to play music, however I still have to use my Android to skip songs etc...

iDevice wiring harness; http://www.autotoys.com/x/product.php?productid=12317

3.5mm Aux jack; http://www.autotoys.com/x/product.php?productid=11686

To hookup the aux jack you just plug it in to the RCAs that come off the back of the iDevice wiring harness and it feeds the music through your stock stereo with honestly what I would call cd quality sound. It works 100 times better than a FM modulator or anything of that nature.

Best Regards, Nick Schultz
