Did you fit the rubber type ? If so, main dealer ?
Cheers,
Dale.
Water alone may not reveal a very slow leak. With a soapy solution you will spot a single bubble forming and increasing in size over a few minutes. I've seen tyre fitters using this trick with good effect. My replacement sensor came from the main dealer and was the metal type.

I don't have an issue with my sensor as such. What I do have is a VERY slow leak. Approx 0.5 bar over a 2-3 day period. Have put the wheel in a water bath, but other than coming out cleaner, no signs of any leak.
It's just a PITA to keep pumping it up. So my only guess is than the sensor stem / body has a very slight leak ?
Any ideas. ?

Dale.
Exactamundo the same problem on my rear O/S

I took it to lanoitaN seryT and the nice chap said it was leaking
at the sensor stem, he removed the tyre to investigate, the rubber seal was shot and he couldn't remove the securing nut to remove it but didn't want to force it lest it break.
He advised getting a new sensor and refitted the tyre [ BTW he didn't charge me a penny, well done NT ].

Up shot is, since its removal the said tyre has held its pressure, so I don't know what the guy did, but he fixed it anyway.

Thats pretty much what I always do. I simply put some very dilute washing up liquid in a trigger spray and spray a mist of it all over the tyre, rim and valve. You soon find the leak

If you want to look proper posh then Screwfix do a leak detection spray for £3.60

Leak Detection Spray 400ml | Screwfix.com

only does the same as soapy water though.
