Castrol Edge

£32.99 for 4 litres at Euro Car Parts using code SAVENOW. Free delivery, seems reasonable.

Have a 3.5 petrol so no dpf etc

Costco do 20l of this for £46. Fully Syn. Been using for 3 years now !!

Look at the spec here : https://cglapps.chevron.com/msdspds/...&docFormat=PDF

Look at the data sheet. 0.9% ASH....low enough for the CRD? What is ash content of Mobile 1 or Castrol?

Also see Chevron 5W-30-£50.59 20 Litre Semi Synthetic Petrol/Diesel Oil only at pluckpoint.com. Detergent also included in oil to stop it from become sludge I assume !

Think the spec as good (if not better) than the 4l £40 bottles of Castrol etc.

It's what Ray will be using on mine tomorrow!

All diesel specific engine oil contains detergent, it doesn't stop it sludging up.
