My car was out in the street when the storm went by, and is covered in small dents from end to end .. i'm having the bonnet, booth, roof and the whole left side of the car sanded, filled out and resprayed .. the right side seems to be mostly unscathed. I'm not covered by insurance so this is going to be a major expense out of pocket ..

I also need some other parts and was wondering if anybody here can help me source them, maybe from a car that is for breaking ..

What I need are the exterior chrome bits that go under the windows (car is a 2007 300C CRD sedan, pre-facelift) particularly the two on the left hand side and possibly the right (although on that side they are less damaged). I also need the glass for the driver's side (RHS) door mirror glass (the housing is OK, just cracked glass)

While we're at it I need to buy (not storm damage of course) an ABS front wheel sensor and also stabiliser bar bushes .. if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Help is very welcome! Car is in for respray on the 11th February so i'm trying to have the parts by then .. thanks guys!

We had a lot of this in the UK this summer, and if you haven't already committed to the repaint, some clever paintless techniques came up using dry ice to 'shrink' the dents and pop them back into shape. May be much cheaper and less disruptive to the car's finish.

There was a memorable hail storm in the Marbella area about 6 or 7 years ago with hailstones the size of golf balls. Just yesterday I saw an ageing survivor car - covered from end to end in unrepaired craters!

Bad luck Croolis,my 300 got pebbledashed in France in the summer doesn't sound as bad as yours-we were only 500m from a service area so managed to get under the petrol station canopy,1 nasty one on n/s/r door,about 20 on the roof and 30odd on the bonnet. Those chrome door trims must be made of tin foil,as 2 of mine are knackered. i also ended up with a chip in the screen.
As mine is black and it was parked in hot Mediterranean sunshine for three weeks some of the worst ones on the roof popped out! The door was done by 'paintless dentman' for £75. I've decided the remaining roof dents can stay and occasionally, look on e-bay for a black bonnet,but to be honest nobody has ever noticed unless i tell them,although when I come to sell it ,it might be a different story. The screen chip still hasn't cracked even after the recent -10 frosts.
We should consider ourselves lucky that Chrysler built the 300 to take it,all around us on the Autoroute and in the service area rear windows were smashing ,and in one case a Renault folding hardtop thing had its roof and window shatter over the terrified occupants. I don't know what was louder the hail or my wife and three daughters screaming.
