oil catch tank help

i have fitted a oil catch tank to my crd to stop oil going into the inlet now i just checked my inlet and there a bit of oil trace in the turbo and inlet pipe from the catch can does anyone no why my catch can is doing this and how to fix it?

Id say either poor pipework, or a crap catch can,.

the pipe work is all ok its all proper oil hose and its 13mmid im guessing its the can also it has 13mm connectors where needed

bugger i dont want to buy a bt one i cant justify spending that much on just a can

Hi Alex.
Has it got a 'blow by' filter gauze to catch the oil fumes as they pass through? (The BT one HAS)
If not; Then you have bought a basic can that is designed to catch the oil from the cylinder head breathing pipe, Used by racers to stop the drips going onto the track surface.
If thats the case, You have pretty much wasted your time. Sorry to say.
Unless you mount the can very low & hope that gravity helps the oil drop into the can at the lowest point. However; Doing it this way you run the risk of the pipe blocking with oil & ruining your engine.

How and where have you fitted it and where have you took the pipes from and back to....if you get my drift
