Thanks for the help folks, Im going to by the dexos 2 gm stuff as its a cracking price.
And the oil filter will be mb one and genuine fuel filter, as for the air and pollen I'll buy a decent make like blueprint

Lol funnily enough thats in my watch list allready my worry with buying it off ebay is all this fake stuff going around

And there was talk on another forum about people selling cheap oil in different oil bottles lol

The people selling this are a Vauxhall dealer, you can Google map their postcode and see the premises quite clearly. I usually buy Mobil 1 ESP off a guy on eBay, but he isn't selling any at the moment. Had three services at the dealers using the oil I supplied. All sealed bottles/cans, and no probs so far.

Talking about servicing, at 35K I thought I better bleed the brakes after I'd heard some reports
of the caliper pistons having a tendancy to rust and seize [ Ah, fond memories of the trusty old Cortina MK3 ]

With 20 inch alloys the job is made rather easy and the bleeding can be done
without removing the wheels, just work through the spokes if you have wee hands.

The DOT 4 gloop is acceptable if you can't get DOT 3

The old fluid was thick, rather dark and dirty [ unless that's what DOT 3 looks like ]

60 minutes was all that was needed.
