TV/DVD on the SAT NAV SCREEN??? HOW? BASED IN UK?

Hi guys

So three questions to answer please guys - if you may be so kind.

1.) How can I watch a DVD on the factory fitted Nav Screen?

2.) How do I connect my iPOD video up to my 300c so it blasts out of the Boston audio setup? Can the track choice etc. be controlled via the steering wheel ?

3.) Can I connect my Play Station 2 to the Nav Screen and audio?

HOW DO I DO ALL THIS!!!!!!!???????
HAS ANYBODY HAD THIS DONE?
DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHO CAN DO IT?

I have emailed Dom from TVandNAV2GO but it woud mean sending my unit to the States which I wouldnt want to do.

Please remember I am in London in the UK. The car will be a Black 300CRD V6 full spec.

Thank you so much for all your help with this.

I didn't want to send mine from AZ either.

Send it to Dominic (insured of course) or find someone in the UK.

So you sent your Sat Nav unit away to be modified? What exactly do they do to it? And what do you get for your money?

They will open the unit, expose the display part, cut 4 traces and solder 8 wires plus a ground and lead these out via a 9 pin d sub conector. This connector goes into a little black box which has other connectors for video in and a switch wire in case you want to add a rear view camera..If you DIY the connections on the NAV unit, it will cost you about $200 less. You still have to pay for the lil black box with the interface electronics..

Diy

D. I. Y.

Yes it does mean "Do It Yourself" which also reflects the 200 dollar price drop.

I don't know if there are any other companies that do this but there is a nav-tv in the UK.
