Ride?

Hi Red5

I will be getting my car in the next 2 weeks - end of apr to start of may is the estimated delivery date.

I also have ordered the startech wheels and am wondering what the ride quality is like as I know they are fitted with low profile tyres, whereas the demo car I tried had the 18's which have large boarder tyres. The ride height in this pic seems a little high, was the car changed from standard ride height?

And lastly how do you rate the lights on the door sils are they worth the extra cash?, I imagine they only look good at night?. Also how do they turn on only when the car door is open or can you manually turn them on as I think the spots lights on the floor look great.

Nice car by the way

z

hi xoro

keep counting down the days and your car will soon be here.

seriously, don't forget to tell your insurer about the Startech wheel, as they may consider that it changes the risk that the car offers them.

Hi sorry for the delay in coming back to you
First let me say the 20 monostars do not come fitted with the tyre pressure monitors?
make sure your dealer order them to come with you wheels and fit then from the start.
Iam at this time back on the 18" wheels becuse of this over sight from the dealer, I have to say that the car has a far better feel to it with the 20" wheels on.
With the 18" there is body roll in the corners and the grip from the P7 Tyre is no match to the 245 Contientals fitted on the 20" monostar,
if i had wished for this type of feel from the 18" i would have stayed with the Merc to soft and unpredictable.
The light panels are great and yes the effect at night is stuning well worth the money it just a nice part of the total package.
Im still having problems with my bird eye maple wood trim from startec it is now 10 weeks late the first delivery came after 8 weeks and was not compleat with the wrong size sat nav cover sent, and i still have no news about the ECU up grade
DCUK are doing a great job of pissing of new customer for the 300c the customer servive level from all the coments hear tell the story bentley black and I are with the same group and we are both sufuring at the moment.

Could you tell me more about the rocker panel lights. Is that a european option. Is that something you added to the car yourself, aftermarket? A little help please.

I think the row of courtesy lights looks good.
