1) Turn the radio off?

2) If you add the song/artist/album info to the MP3's ID3 tag it should show when the song begins to play.

It's an auto pause. If you switch to your radio... It will pause the song in place until you go back to CD. Or you can try the rear DVD remote if you have one.

No. no. no you dont understand.

I just wanna leave it in CD mode and pause the CD for example if the phone rang or I wanted to speak to somebody I get an instant mute without the sat nav volume being turned down either.

If you press the "MUTE" button you mute the whole system.

If you press the radio button yes it does pause the CD but you still get the sound from the radio.

If you turn down the system whilst listening to a CD after you have pressed radio button then you get the result Im after but its too many buttons to push for a simple "paused CD and mute radio function" whilst still hearing the Sat Nav.

Anyone have the answer?????

PLEASE!!!!

I miss the "random play" button that I had in the Intrepid. Unless it's somewhere that I haven't found yet.

no pause while in CD Mode. No Random Play either. the CD portion of the radio sucks! In fact, the whole radio sucks except its intergration with the NAAV and Uconnect.

I may be wrong (& if I am please tell me), but doesn't pressing the bottom right hand button labelled RND PTY make the CD play in random ? This works on my single CD version.

As for getting the song info etc, does pressing and holding down the MSG button activate things for you ?
