Question New car noise question??

Fellow 300c'ers, I have my new mota, got it on Friday! Will upload some pics when I get a chance.
One question, probably directed to the CRD drivers amongst us, when applying any sort of acceleration I hear what I can only describe as a fluttering sort of ticking noise coming from the drivers side of the engine bay? When I come off the accelerator the noise goes and the engine is almost inaudible? Do you all get this?

Check the pan that is attached to the underside of the car in the front.

Its there to cover the underside of the car, and makes it look nicer
underneith. Its also there to help some with the aerodynamics of the car.

Anyway, its attached with 4 small bolts, and it also has two small "flaps"
that are supposed to hook into the underside of the bumper cover.

Sometimes, these "flaps" are not attached properly under the car, and it
will make the front edge of the pan move up and down when the car is
moving. Also, the 4 bolts can come loose, and move around as well.

Crawl under the front of the car and do a quick inspection of the pan. You
may find that the noise can be fixed quite easily by just re-attaching it to
the car in the correct way.

Thanks CJ7VFR, but the noise only occurs under acceleration (however slight)?

I've got this noise too... I assume it is a normal "gurgling" noise as I've read it described as a minor default in a french car magazine.

it's non audible unless the car is stopped and you put some throttle in the P or N position of the gear box.

Yes - I get this too. But I feel that this has developed since I have had the car. Do you get a slight vibration in your left foot whilst in P or N if you rev between 1000 and 1500 revs??? Its been really bugging me.

Let me know.
