EVIC problems

Hi All
I went in to Chrysler to have my evic flashed and a phone kit fitted. The phone kits were left hand drive brackets and did not work with stereo so they could not fit.
When they tried to do the evic it said an update was not needed. I had to show their engineer the easter egg to get the software version. It was v4.06 however when he connected their computer it said a different part number to what my evic screen was displaying. I definately have US gallons I've worked it out. So at the moment I am stuck with it till they figure it out.
Any thoughts!!!!

Hi Johnny

Yeah that happened to me. However on another return visit to a different Chrysler Service Dealership they upped mine to 4.08 but told me that a new 300C now has 4.13 but did not have the sofware download for it avaliable - wierd eh??????

Take it back and see if the 4.08 is avaliable now for your car.

Same problem for me, the dealer said that their computer was off the premises & in any event some software on their computer needed updating, so I'm stuck with v4.07.

Murphy the Cat seems to have had more success at his dealers in the lake district. Maybe we should all take a trip to North West England & have a forum meet up!

Sorry to hear about the phone kit Johnny, I've got a similar problem, I want to install bluetooth / hands free, but don't want to spoil the dash. Not sure what to do & getting a bit annoyed about not having a phone on the move.

Tried to get rubber floor mats also, but they aren't available in right hand drive!

Oh well, never mind, I'm still loving the car anyway.
