...naah, go on holiday: the building anticipation of picking her up Friday week will be almost as good as actually picking her up (although suggest between now and then you go "off topic" at least a couple of times with 'her in doors')...enjoy the break. John W

...yes Redrooster! in fact I haven't felt like this about a car for over 20 years (actually, probably 30!). Not quite sure why it's sparked this excitement, as I've been lucky to have some half-decent cars in that time...I guess it's mostly to do with style and character, which it has in abundance and which many of the current European (and Japanese) equivalents are lacking....what fun eh! You are right John, there is something in the design of this motor that just stimulates the hairs on the back of your neck!!!
Like you I've had some decent motors in my time, and still have, this will be No 3 in the fleet !! but this design only comes along on the very odd occasion and stands out well above the rest.

...maybe we should raise the BS flag at this point , but what the heck: as with all the memorable, stand-out cars, it's as much to do with art as engineering......actually, on second thoughts, stuff the holiday (and, so to speak, 'her in doors'), ring the garage first thing in the morning and see if you can get her this Friday!...best.
