It's a Bentley... oh no it isn't, oh yes it is...

Is how the discussion went with a guy who was convinced my 300c was a Bentley (a common mistake we all know).
However after a lengthy discussion and my advice on the matter he has assured me that he is definitely going to place an order for his very own 300c in the next week!!!
Looks like another convert to the 300c clan

Wow! That is good talking there! Talked him right into his very own 300..You are good! How did you do that? I need pointers on the convincing part, I have been trying to convince hubby into one but have failed on countless occassions.
I even folded to the point of, okay you can keep your truck too. He is not giving in!

Congratulations on drawing in another owner now don't forget to bring him here to the forum as well..

Yep told him that too! I think I have lost this battle so I will give it a rest for a little bit. His excuse was they cost too much and we can't afford it, I said yes we can. He started looking at srt10 trucks around the same price and I couldn't get him in one of those either! Now his newest idea was to get an older model 300 (classic) or corvette (He knows I love them), or any classic and do a restore...I said I have no problem with that...but we don't have a garage! He agreed we need one of those as well to do the restore. I think his new car is turning into a garage!?

Stevie1975 sorry for the thread jacking, kinda on the same topic...

Yep, be prepared for plenty of this over the next couple of months, i'ts good at first but it does get a bit boreing after a while, especially for me not being a director or such, just a humble employee, you get the quotes " they are paying you too much" & "you must be on the fiddle" but the one that I shut them up with "if I had a top of the range mondao or volvo" you wouldn't bat a eye lid
Same go for the directors when they visit site they get the same comment

great story! i know that happens to a fair amount of us. and then there are those people who think it's a ~B~ and we never get a chance to speak with. i think half the parents at my kids elementary and junior high think we own a bentley because their kids see the car and tell them so. i have quite a fun conversation with them explaining what a great car actually do own.
