Chipping a CRD -- Video

I was fortunate enough to borrow a friends chipped 300C CRD the other night and I've done a short video to show how easily/quickly you can add/remove the 'chip'.

Before viewing the clip, a few vital pieces of information for you.
1) Jerry Bruckheimer didn't produce the clip
2) Sean Connery let me down at the last minute, so the voice over is mine.
3) Its very dark in places, if people think that the clip is u/s, let me know and I'll borrow the car again and re do it.
4) Don't change the clip whilst the engine is hot, you'll burn your fingers
5) Its not to clear, but when you've installed the chip, before putting the engine cover back in place, make sure that your not going to trap any wires.

Click on the picture to get the movie clip to show. It lasts about 90 seconds.
Once it has started, hit the pause button, let the entire clip load, and then hit play again. It makes for smoother viewing.
If it helps people, great. if the picture quality is to poor to be of help, shout up.

or even don't do it after dusk when you've just finished the weeding and you're wearing your scruffs

I'll see if I can borrow it again and re make it - this time the filming budget will be huge

Well yes, but no, but yes.

I've not chipped mine, but he has chipped his, which is why I used his car in the clip

I'd say someone could even do it "in the dark"... LOL I couldn't see a connection or a chip thingy anywhere!

Also... what this video needs is a demonstration of performance without the chip, and then with the chip after a roadside, daylight installation. Varoom Varoom!

He uses the Powerklick chip that takes the power from 216bhp to 262 bhp
and the torque from 510nm to 660nm.

I'll see if he'll let me refilm it tonight -- & then tomorrow do some 'road testing'.

Nice one Murph

Just as a matter of interest was it the "Red" or the "CRD2" version of the Powerklick mod?

Thanks
