Scots meet

Just starting a new thread for a possible Scottish meet, I am over towards Johnstone so no problem meeting up.

Obviously peoples commitments, golf, football, wives etc..... will make this awkward but if we all agree a nice place where we can get a spot of lunch and be able to park up our lovely cars would be ideal.

Cheers

Stig

OOOooooo I have no problem if we can arrange a date and work toward it, venue suggestion's could be the Ashoka or the Malletsheugh as that is quite central, or we can go for the ship inn in Irvine Harbour????

Hi Stig, Derek,
The Mall sounds quite good to me - used to be my local when I lived in Newton Mearns although I gather it has been subsequently knocked down and rebuilt. But basically fairly jack easy. We should include florin m who wants to meet after 18th September and who hails from Cumbernauld - no doubt others may well respond to the thread now.
Cheers John

The Mall is still there but in a different format but does a reasonable bite or so I am told.

I know the fun we had with 7 series meet's with rubber necking and reaction so with a bunch of 300C's it will be hysterical,,,,,,

Hi Folks,
To make a meeting worthwhile we are going to have to get in touch with more owners. I am dropping over to see my dealers on Monday (Murray's at Shields Road, Glasgow). Do you think it would be worthwhile asking them to either email or write to all the folks they have sold 300C's to and advise them of the meeting. Obviously we would have to finalise a date before this could be done but I could approach them on principal. Equally Derek you could approach Bickets in Kilmarnock - Stig, don't know where you got your car from but..... and the same with Just and florin m. Also I would suggest that each day we take it in turns to add something to this thread so that it stays towards the top of the listing and attracts attention.
John

Hello from the correct side of the wall

Once you've managed to pin down a venue and a date, I'd love to bring Arnie up for a trip out -- as long as family commitments allow.

p.s. do I need my passport & what currency are you currently using ?

I can't speak for the rest but I reckon we could leave the wode off for the day and park the claymores back under the thatch. I am sure we could make you more than welcome - our smallest denomination note is the £50 note and of course there is no coinage so no change can be given - we gave up on Groats a while back - the rate of exchange was never that favourable. All of course tongue in cheek <grin>

How about Strathclyde park as an easy up for Murph?
