First Breakdown

I've had my first breakdown this morning.

My car is a June 06 CRD Touring bought from new and I had just clocked up 34,000 and was in South London when the ETC (Electronic Throttle Control) Light started flashing. I managed to get home in "limp home mode" and now I am waiting for the car to be picked up and taken to the local dealer.

Chrysler are giving me a replacement but it is not going to be a 300C - more likely a Merc - boring.

Has anyone else had a problem with this?

Tim

Yep me!!
Same thing, got DC's technical support out, pluged in the lap top thing, 'low fuel press' came up, then removed the plug/connection at the end of the diesel common rail, cleaned up, put back on, cabled tied it up ( said it had probally worked loose a bit!!) no bother since, (that was about 3 weeks ago)

Again Mine June 06, only 10k though!
