CRD turbos 'prone to malfunction'?

Just saw this on ebay:

chrysler 300c turbo - eBay Chrysler, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 09-Oct-07 16:41:33 BST)

The vendor's comment that the turbo is 'prone to malfunction' seemed odd - I thought I would have heard about that through this forum. Has anyone got experience of the turbo failing?

Won't say turbo units are bullet proof, but under "normal" driving condition, it should be good for a very very long time.
