Window jams when cold

I seem to have a problem with the passenger window in the mornings when the car is cold, it just wont go back up without half a dozen tries and stops and starts before eventually going up fully. Once the car is warm its not a problem. Any comments anyone? Its not major enough to drag to a dealer for just yet.But sooner or later it will have to go in.

Possibly just the anti-trap safety mechanism cutting in. Most windows will stop if they encounter resistance, to avoid trapping fingers etc. Maybe the friction in the rubbers is enough to trigger this. You could try a little silicon spray (household polish) in the rubbers.

I used to have this in a previous car, and the tell-tale symptom was that I could help the window up with my hand, which apparently overcame the friction.
