Another Scottish owner next week!

Hi all,

The 300C CRD saloon in black we've been waiting for has finally arrived. We are taking it for a test drive tomorrow. Went to see it today and what a stunning car. There is nothing that looks so imposing on the road.

It is 5 months old with 2500 miles on the clock.

The guy at the garage mentioned some additional items the car has above the standard spec:

Lux pack
Startech rear spoiler, front spoiler and illuminated side sills
Startech sports exhaust system
Startech engine performance chip
Startech grille
Startech illuminated door entry sills
Startech door pins

It has standard 18" alloys but they look OK

Never got too good a look today but will have a good nosey when we take it out tomorrow. Hopefully another one on the road soon!

Just remember and wear the grin which has got to be ear to ear - the rest of us do when out in our cars. Welcome to the forum.
Cheers John

Ive had mine 2 years now and they still try not to look, also watch out for the bmw, merc, audi bunch trying to read the small writing on your rear number plate, dont know about the CRD but the Hemi just kicks down a couple and leaves them,I tend to stop accelerating at about 90 and let them rush past, let them lose their licence(also knowing you've just kicked a@@).lol

Welcome to the world of the grin factor. Very nice spec, similar to mine, but you will need a set of these 20" alloys!!!!

The 20" Startech alloys are nice, but asking the wife for another 3 grand would probably tip her over the edge .....

We took the car for a quick test drive yesterday and spent the whole time shouting "GET OUT OF MY WAY" to the cars in front, especially the **** in a matiz hogging the outside lane doing 55!

Sheer luxury and effortless power, although I guess the chip and sports exhaust have someting to do with that.

We had to fill up before the test drive, and the guy at the filling station said "nice Bentley mate" and I wanted to choke him. Spose it's only going to get worse ......

The 300C is very nice indeed. Will be collecting her on Thursday so I'm practicing the big grin already

I know what you mean mate about additional costs.

Do you know, funny you should mention the Matiz, because I came up behind one yesterday and thought what a ridiculously small car, I've never noticed that in any other of my cars, or is it just that the sheer size of our 300C's just dwarf that type of car!!

P.S. Just off to burn some rap music CD's and find my pair of very dark shades.

Stefan, nice motor indeed ..... do the illuminated sills look good at night?

Can't wait to see the look on the faces of the people at work. 40% of the cars in the car park are Audi A3 & A4.

After seeing the 300C in the flesh, it makes me realise just how boring all these Audi cars really are!
