I'll go for that Derek. Minimalist is the current thinking I reckon.
Cheers John

I like what you've done and I'll go with it - what do you think of waving the union flag

Prefer UK - it also means that other European countries can add their designation easily whereas a primary colour in their flag may well "blend" with the background.

Hello everybody,
I very much like Derek Mc's yellow border as it will be recognisable and eye-catching. I would prefer the logo itself to be more like the forum logo in colour and design. I would be happy to lose the UK or SCO etc and keep it plain. I agree with having a space to write in our usernames but I also agree that the design of the forum's logo makes it difficult to integrate anything nicely against that green-blue background.
As usual I have no strong opinions and will go with the flow.
I would also like it in non-sticky vinyl. It peels off easily as it has no glue. Here's one I installed earlier. See if you can guess which window it's in ...

I agree with the suggestion of 'Greenheugh' which would be an internationally acceptable solution.

I thought the original idea was that we should produce a master copy on line then simply print it on paper at home, cut it out to the circle and use a Vehicle Excise License holder to secure it to the windscreen. The object being to save on cost and not to have any one member having to pay for a load of stickers and then having to sell them on. The paper ones (from previous experience) will last for up to a couple of years.
Cheers John

Mmmm, that looks like the passenger side rear loadspace area window on your Touring I guess!?

I'm happy with the over all design so far, I also think that maybe UK would be better so as not to blend in with the background too much.

To answer a few points

Flag no flag, make no matter to me let me know I will produce a blank that anyone can edit and print on MS Paint.

UK or other country, as above, I will probably not even have a UK on my car just the disc.

The disc is to be printed on a laser or other colour photo quality printer and housed in a tax disc holder as a temprary measure until we have sufficient to do a run in a vinyl material.
