Well if you really want to know - the egg came first... chickens evolved from other birds (that weren't called chickens) that laid eggs ...... and those birds evolved from dinosaurs (like velocoraptors) which also laid eggs... hence the velocorapter egg came before the chicken - unless you mean which came first - the chicken or the chicken egg - then it has to be the chicken because it could only be a chicken egg if it was laid by a chicken...
