Welcome BMews; I'm just a few miles down the A5. Where did you get it?

Derick; I've got the AE disk on my April 07 300c so I think you must mean AF?

I don't know when the 2008 car began production, but May 2007 is very possible.
tks joey, i think my main gripe was that when i started the purchase process i was looking at acquring a standard saloon which which i was told was manufactured late feb 08. The spec changed to a lux pack because the car they thought i was getting was actually consigned to another dealer. I was at that time led to believe that they thought it was a younger vehicle (implying it was built later). Upon subsequent asking of the same question the dealer said they didn't have the build date which immediately got me thinking it would be an older car (though i didn't expect it to be nearly a year old).

that said, the car is fine. it won't effect the value and as i've whinged on enough i'd like to reiterate my satisfaction with both the vehicle and the dealer.

hi Derick, i mentioned the ability to set up auto headlights and the dealer too was surprised. (i'm going to have to ask you guys for guidance on that once i've set up all the memory functions).

Is it just the version of sat nav you'd like? I'm assuming that's in the functions menu?

Hi Rgr,

picked the lady up in oxford. I'm up in Silverstone. I did go look at the northampton dealer but to be honest they didn't seem interested in selling me anything. I don't mean that they were all over me they just totally couldn't be bothered to discuss or show me what all the options were.

Hi BMEWS

If you can PM me an Email address I will send you a word document with pictures and instructions on how to set up the auto headlights. For some reason I can't make it small enough to post here as an attachment.
The Sat Nav version is shown on the disc at trhe end of the line of numbers.

Rgr

Thanks for the info. Definately the AE version I'm after, unless of course AF european is available? I will contact the dealership again

Database Version 02.0506.102406.1253

From within the EVIC the main version

CCN Software Info 6/28/06. V5.34

Your CCN software is identical to mine and I took delivery of my vehicle in December 2006 I have not checked the sat nav itself other than the disc which ends in AD
