Message for Zorro01 (New Member)

Hi Zorro,
First off welcome to the forum from Hamilton. I have posted an identical message under your thread on the Newbies section where I saw you are from Scotland. You have just got your car at the right time - we are having our first Scottish Meeting ever this Sunday at New Lanark. Basically the deal is that you turn up from 10.30am onward and you will find our cars parked near to the New Lanark Mill Hotel where most (not all) are booked for a carvery lunch - if you want to join us for lunch then phone the hotel on 01555 667200 and ask to be seated at the Chrysler table. There is plenty to do at New Lanark and you can read up on it at At Last - A Meeting Has Been Arranged None of us that are going have ever met before so you certainly won't feel strange (any more than the rest of us will). Anyway post back here if you can manage - you will be made most welcome - you might even learn some of the tricks and tips for your car and how to set up the EVIC (Your programmable onboard computer that controls all your various functions.)
Friends and family too if you want to bring them along.
Cheers John

Sorry, John, for taking so long to reply to your kind message.

In fact, I chose the absolute wrong time to acquire a new car last Friday. I had only three hours to "play" before I had to board a bus for a weekend long training course in sunny, (well dry-ish), Rosyth, getting back late on Sunday, as you were digesting your lunch. I've watched the video, and seen the photos, and I can assure you that I would much rather have spent Sunday at a dark satanic mill than a dark satanic naval base.

Almost definitely next year though ....

I'll start posting my daft laddie questions separately.

cheers

Z

Nae bother Z - perhaps next year. I take it you are RNVR? Poty you couldn't make it as we could have shown you how to operate all your computer gubbins and how to achieve auto headlights etc. You will pick that up in due course.
Cheers John

Lol. I've been to Rosyth so I know exactly where you are coming from with that one! Welcome to the forum, if you have as much fun as I do with my 300 then it's a decision you will not regret. Enjoy.
