I can't say that I've seen any mention of the SD6 being able to be switched on and off, not in any brochure or on the Startech website.

As far as I am aware the SD6 just plugs in between the wiring loom and the common rail on the engine, exactly the same as many other tuning boxes available for around £200-£400, which is a bit of a saving on the Startech price, granted it doesn't have the engine warranty that the Startech one does, but, they can be very easily removed if you catch my drift...........................................
