John

Many thanks for organising a really great day - great to meet up with everyone, put names to faces and see the cars in the flesh. Joanne and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I loved the comment from the hotel manager, saying that he hadn't realised how big the cars were going to be!

Cheers

Just

Well folks, just got home from my day's playing in the speedboat! I'm burnt, my daughter's burnt, lots of fuel got burnt, and the Hemi's aircon was great all the way home, lol.

Great to meet you all yesterday, just a pity we had something else scheduled in the morning or we'd have no-doubt enjoyed the meal too. (My 9-year old must be a "future 300 owner" judging from her appetite! If she takes after me she'll want a Hemi on LPG, obviously, hehe).

John, excellent work in organising things, many thanks for a great time.

Just, you ought to have seen his face as we reversed in - he had one of those "how many more are there" looks, lol.

Thanks for putting the effort in to come up and see us. I am quite sure there is a pun in there somewhere "it looked like everyone was driving through a ford."

Lol, don't think he will be buying one - he told me off for buying it in the first place after I originally said I wasn't going to buy anything that wasn't rated for 100% biodiesel... oops - so much for my principles....
And he keeps telling my how efficient his A2 is, the scumbag!

Still, he seemed to enjoy driving it part of the way back

You could have always flown up in your helicopter - we could have picked you up from Abbotsinch no bother at all. Anyway have a look at the photos in the album - I think they will inspire you to come next year. We do things right in Scotland.
Cheers John

Chewie, I am sure Kojo could be persuaded eventually to make his life complete by investing in a 300C - he has to with that grin. In fact if he contacted Chrysler directly they might even give him one as an advert. Boy, I wish I had teeth like that - and the will to display them!! You sure pick nice mates!
Cheers John

Hello Watson,
and thank you for your efforts.
That's the furthest I've ever driven this car and I don't mind going even further next time.

By the way, I forgot to show off my Haynes manual.
Also, since then the last pieces of my Edashkit trim set have arrived yesterday so I fitted them round the radio area last night and then took the whole unit out and painted black semi-gloss round the edges (Humbrol / Airfix number 85).
The car is yet again totally transformed.
Pity you couldn't have seen it.

Aw Florin - we've lost our Golden Boy!! Now we won't be able to recognise you. I particularly enjoyed your father-in-law's company - hell of a nice guy who, like Kojo, fitted right in with the crowd.
You will just have to bring it back again next year David. And what's this about a Haynes Manual - I think all of us would have liked to have seen that.
Cheers John

The Haynes manual can be ordered direct from the states, I got one immediately I knew I was buying the 300. It doesn't have specific SRT-8, CRD diesel, or AWD info though, just the petrol models. 300c, charger & magnum.

Softback only, Haynes #25027.
