John,

I had a 24hr test drive of a CRD a few months back which made me decide to go with the 300C over the 7er. Not that it was better, but for the money you get so much more and a far newer car! The CRD is a year and a few months old, I'd have to get an older, higher mileage 7er for the same money. I thought the 7er was nicer inside and the 300C faaaaaaaaar nicer outside.

I also had the chance to nip into the dealers on Sat before I left the country on business. The actual car I'm buying arrived on that Sat just before I got there so I was able to take her for a test drive and have a look over it the way it came in from pervious owner. I was as happy as a pig in s**t when I drove up Union St on a nice sunny afternoon... The 'Big Grin' was of course on show

Stef
I love telling people at work with small cars that I have a car like theirs in the boot of my car because there isn't room for a space-saver spare wheel.

A complete lie of course; I do in fact have the wheel.

Is that a space saver wheel along with a small car? The boot is bloody huge!

Thats OK, I had my mate in the car with me and he was shocked when I didn't get flashed back. I said "there goes some d**k head 300C driver not showing the love" haha. I'll be sure not to flash next time

I'm awaiting my documents so I can get my private plate on. I don't even know my current reg plate!

Oh yeah, I just remembered that it was you, Da Pimp, that I passed about 6 months ago when I was on my way to John Clark to look at a 730d. On seeing your car pass me I quickly made a call to find out where the Chrysler dealer was and headed there after BMW. Walked into Chrysler and a big black 300C was the first car as I entered the door. I pretty much new from then I was gonna get a 300C over the 7er. I thank you!

Not only that, but because I took the missus to see the 300C in the dealer she promptly decided she wanted a new car. Another trip to BMW saw her decide on the black Z4 conv. So if you see a 300C with M7 JWA or a black Z4 with H13 JJR give us a flash - no doubt the soft top will be down and the music up loud, she's worse than the bouley bashers!
