US Brakes on a CRD?

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has ordered any pads or rotors from the US and if there is any difference in fitting.

I'm looking at either.

eBay Motors: 05-06-07 Chrysler 300 300C Drill/Slot Brake Rotors+Pads (item 310049984302 end time May-19-08 00:04:59 PDT)
which states 300C , However it also states AWD

or

eBay Motors: 05-06-07 Chrysler 300 Drill/Slot Brake Rotors+Pads F&R (item 310049984318 end time May-19-08 0003 PDT)
Which I'm guessing are for a rear wheel drive lile my CRD however it also states 300 and not 300C

So any advice would be great.

also hi to everyone I've not spoken to for a while.

I'm not sure about the difference between 300 and 300c and AWD,but I do know that SRT8 brakes are different to 300c's

no,I meant that SRT8 brakes are different to other "C"s.You will have to find out if you have standard brakes or SRT8 brakes,is your car fitted with brembos?if not you have standard brakes,so dont buy aftermarket brakes for a SRT8.I hope thats clearer

300 has smaller rotors than 300C. Check up Zeckhausen site (forum sponser), it shows different rotors for all different models. Same applies to pads, make sure they are the right size for the right calipers.

Ummm, Seems like the US rotors won't fit a CRD
Atleast not the front (the rear are a match)

UK CRD =
Front Brakes345 x 22 mm vented discs Rear Brakes320 x 22 mm vented discs

US =
Front 345mm x 28mm 1-piece vented rotors
Rear 320mm x 22mm 1-piece vented rotors
Thats the closes match but still not exact.

According to the online eBrochure the current CRD touring CRD has 345 * 28mm fronts and 320 * 22mm back and I have just measured my fronts, 2007 Touring, and they are 28mm. So it looks like the touring may take the US gear.

stoptech

Hi
I just installed front and rear stoptech big brake kit, worth the money(believe you'll need some) but the braking pwer is awsome and feather touch to brake the car in traffic, I will post some with the wheels on ,forgot to ask the installer to take pics b4 wheels, but the disk is nearly as bg as the inner wheel.
