I Found A New "c" Owner Thats Made My Day

As you all probably know I run and own my own garage,well out of pure coincidence I had a passing customer enquiring if we do work on quads(he runs his own business doing the roadside weeds with his purpose built quad under contract from the local council)I said we do,he said I will come and book it in next week.Well next week came and I was having my leather seat repaired(bloody wife)when the said customer turned up and asked if the beast was mine,I said yes,he said that he has one,he has the 3.5 v6 06 petrol model and wouldnt like my fuel bill,to which I replied"Oh,it aint too bad,I get 16mpg in the town and 25mpg at 80 and if the MDS cuts in(not very often) I get a bit more."He looked amazed as he says he only gets 8mpg in the town and 20 on a run.So who's daft now.He made my day,I made his a little better,he's not a member of any forum so I told him about all the little tricks that we do to our car,he is now bringing his "C" to me instead of main dealer(he's been to two and was not happy).He made my day

Why does he only get 8 and 20 mpg ?

I dont know,he has been to 2 stealerships who havent a clue why,so when he brings it to me I shall try and find out why,I shall also invite him to our forum(not sure if he's the type though,but I'll still invite him)
