Just tested my broadband speeds download 1.13mb upload 0.37mb. Must admit the slow page delivery is not that horrendous and not all the fault of those at 300c forum. at these sort of speeds. TalkTalk still say up to 8mb and have done work to stabilise the speed.

A little faster this morning, I think it's the sidebar ads loading that are slowing it down a lot. If i am doing a reply or an edit it is lightening fast. Loading a new page is a different matter.

WTF has happened to the forum site speed?

Can I just say to any webmasters that might be interested - the "new" forum site appears to be a lot slower.

Usually "New" is better!

How can this be an improvement.

I think this an excellent forum and hope that whoever set it up is being rewarded in some way or other.

I get the feeling, while waiting for pages to load , the same as one gets with the "Bloody adds" on the telly.

So webmasters take note - Thanks , but NO Thanks!!!!

Your not kidding. It's enough to drive people away, ive had quicker dial up, lmao.

They are trying to fix it though but i think the ads are the cause.
